A slow morning bringing people together through clay, flowers and the joy of making things by hand.

You'll be guided through crafting your own ceramic flower vessel, intended for ikebana style floral arrangements and seasonal blooms. The workshop uses the handbuilding technique, which is a slower and more hands-on approach than throwing on a wheel. You will learn various methods like slab rolling, coiling and pinching to shape the clay into its desired effect. No two pieces come out the same, so you will end up with something truly unique to you.

This workshop is taking place in the grounds of Somerset House, at Cafe Petiole, an intimate space that overlooks the courtyard and inspires creativity.

The piece you make will be taken away, glazed and fired by Your Creative Space Studio. It will be ready for collection after approximately 6 weeks from our Earlsfield studio. Postage can be arranged depending on the size of your piece for an extra cost.

No experience needed - this workshop is suitable for complete beginners. All materials included. Clay can be a bit messy, so wear something you don't mind getting a little clay splattered.

Looking for a fun way to switch off after work? Come along to this beginner-friendly, spooky-themed workshop for an evening of creativity, crafting and good company.

In this workshop, we’ll be giving thrifted and vintage prints a spooky makeover by painting our own ghosts, bats or pumpkins onto them. Experiment with different colours, characters and details to create a unique piece of artwork that you can take home.

A local illustrator Stephanie will be there to guide you through the process of using acrylic paint, but there’s no need to be “good at art” — this is all about having fun, getting creative and making something that’s completely your own. It’s a lovely opportunity to meet other local people, unwind after work and spend a couple of hours doing something creative.
